When looking at regular sizing (between 2-16), we often recommend going down one size from your even size. For example, if you normally wear size 16 jeans, you may want to try size 15 instead.

Women who generally wear sizes 0-7 and carry minimal weight around their midsection may need to size down one size. 

For sizes 14W-24W, most jeans are true to size, but we will note if you should size down for specific pairs. Keep in mind that "true to size" refers to your size in fitted pants, not loose ones. If you're used to a certain size from other retailers, you may want to size down one for plus sizes since our "W" sizing takes into account wider hips. For example, Judy Blue size 18W may be closer to a 20 from other stores. 

Judy Blue jeans may fit differently if they have extra stretch in the fabric. In this case, regular sizes 0-15 may want to size down one size. Plus sizes 14W-24W may also need to size down in some cases.
